  24. Installation

  26. 1. In Windows, make sure your monitor's display is set to 640x480 
  27. resolution and 32,000 (or 65,000) colors (16-bit). The program will run 
  28. with 256 colors (8-bit) mode, but the QuickTime movie won't be optimum. 
  29. The program will run with 16.7 millions colors (24-bit) mode, but the 
  30. monitor's display will be slower than 16-bit mode. For details on how 
  31. to change the monitor's resolution and colors, see the 
  32. Microsoft Windows and video card manuals.

  34. 2. Disable any screen savers before launching the program.

  36. 3. If you are using Windows 3.x: Use File Manager in Windows to launch 
  37. "SETUP_16.EXE" file on CD-ROM. If you are using Windows 95 or IBM OS/2, 
  38. double-click the file "SETUP_32.EXE" on the 
  39. CD-ROM.
